It is intended to be the 13th television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) produced by Marvel Studios, via its Marvel Television label, sharing continuity with the films of the franchise. Born Again is a revival and continuation of Daredevil (2015–2018), an earlier series produced by the previous Marvel Television production company and originally released on Netflix. Scardapane serves as showrunner with Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead as lead directors.


Thunderbolts* is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics team Thunderbolts. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is intended to be the 36th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film is directed by Jake Schreier and written by Eric Pearson, Lee Sung Jin, and Joanna Calo. It stars an ensemble cast featuring Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Wyatt Russell, Olga Kurylenko, Lewis Pullman, Geraldine Viswanathan, Chris Bauer, Wendell Edward Pierce, Hannah John-Kamen, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. In the film, a group of antiheroes are caught in a deadly trap and forced to work together on a dangerous mission.


Ironheart (June 24, 2025)

Ironheart is an upcoming American television miniseries created by Chinaka Hodge for the streaming service Disney+, based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. It is intended to be the 14th television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) produced by Marvel Studios, via its Marvel Television label, alongside Proximity Media. The series shares continuity with the films of the franchise. It sees MIT student Riri Williams return home to Chicago, following the events of the film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022), where she discovers secrets that pit technology against magic. Hodge serves as head writer.


The Fantastic Four: First Steps is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team the Fantastic Four. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is intended to be the 37th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and the second reboot of the Fantastic Four film series. The film is directed by Matt Shakman from a screenplay by the writing team of Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer, Josh Friedman, Cameron Squires, Eric Pearson, and Peter Cameron. It features an ensemble cast including Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as the titular team, alongside Ralph Ineson, Julia Garner, Paul Walter Hauser, John Malkovich, Natasha Lyonne, and Sarah Niles. In the film, the Fantastic Four must protect their 1960s-inspired retro-futuristic world from the planet-devouring cosmic being Galactus.

The series shares continuity with the films of the MCU. It follows the Hatut Zaraze, Wakandan warriors who carry out dangerous missions throughout history. Harris served as showrunner and director.

The series is set in the alternate timeline introduced in the “What If… Zombies?!” (2021) episode of the animated series What If…? (2021–2024). Continuing from that episode, Marvel Zombies follows a group of survivors who fight against former heroes and villains that have been turned into zombies. Bryan Andrews served as showrunner and director, with Wells as head writer.

Avengers: Doomsday is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name, and a sequel to Avengers: Endgame, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, the second season of Loki, Thunderbolts*, and The Fantastic Four: First Steps. It is scheduled to be released on May 1, 2026, and will be the forty-second film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the fifth film of Phase Six. It will be produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

Vision is coming back online at Marvel Studios. Paul Bettany will reprise his role as the synthezoid Avenger in Marvel’s untitled Vision seriesthat will stream on Disney+ in 2026, Variety reports. Terry Matalas, who co-created SYFY’s 12 Monkeys TV series and showran Paramount+’s Star Trek: Picard seasons 2 and 3, is on board for the WandaVision spinoff series long rumored to be in development under the title Vision Quest.


Avengers: Secret Wars is an upcoming superhero film, based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name. The film is a sequel to The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, and Avengers: Doomsday. It is the forty-first film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the fourth and final installment of Phase Six and The Multiverse Saga. The film is set to be released on May 7, 2027.
